GUERNSEY will be without leading players Chris Simpson (pictured) and Zephanie Curgenven for today’s annual inter-insular squash clash at Beau Sejour.
Their absence makes it all the tougher for the home side as they try to bring the overall title home for the first time in years.
It is the strength of the Jersey men’s and women’s A teams that needs to be conquered by the Sarnians for them to regain the trophy.
The day begins with a few junior and racketball friendly matches between 9.40am and noon before the squash matches start at 11.30 and continue to around 5pm.
