GUERNSEY Teenage Cancer Trust’s first official event saw a special guest surprise the audience.

Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? host Chris Tarrant arrived midway through the afternoon to lend his support to the cause.

He told the tea party attended by more than 200 women that what they were doing was fantastic.

‘Fingers crossed you will raise that £100,000 as soon as possible.’

Mr Tarrant had a quick chat and his picture taken with the daughters of some of the committee members.
