A TRIO of potential Muratti Vase debutants survive as Tony Vance has trimmed down his Guernsey squad for Saturday’s semi-final against Alderney.

From the provisional training unit named last month, North pair Angus Mackay and Scott Bougourd remain, while former professional goalkeeper Chris Tardif is also uncapped in a Muratti.

Bougourd has shown impressive form of late and the 20-year-old is delighted at his call-up, albeit somewhat surprised.

‘I was not expecting it at all really. It came as a surprise, to be honest,’ he said.
