HOLIDAYMAKERS should soon be able to bring their motorhomes to Guernsey to stay on licensed campsites.
Campsite owners can now apply for planning permission to use part of their sites specifically for motorhomes and new pitches could be in place by the summer.
It means visitors will no longer have to apply individually to the Environment Department for permission and for the first time they will be allowed to stay in their vehicles overnight.
They will be able to stay on licensed pitches for up to a month.
