JAMIE DODD will be thrust into the limelight as he makes his Muratti Vase debut at centre-back in this afternoon’s semi-final against Alderney.

The St Martin’s man (pictured) has enjoyed an impressive club season in a position alien to him before this campaign and he will partner Sam Cochrane in an otherwise unchanged back four from Guernsey’s last game back in September.

It sees Joby Bourgaize and Ollie McKenzie as the full-backs, while another uncapped Muratti player, former professional Chris Tardif, is between the sticks.

The third debutant is North’s Angus Mackay, who will be played in a holding midfield role he is familiar with, while Matt Warren, Ben Coulter and Glyn Dyer all start as expected.
