Air-born baby

WHEN Amy White was starting to prepare her birth plan she did not envisage delivering her baby on an Aurigny Trislander.
But when the 27-year-old was being transferred from Alderney, her son decided to make an entrance just five minutes into the flight, the airline’s first in-flight arrival in its 40-year history.
Mrs White, an Alderney resident who has two other children aged four-and-a-half and three-and-a-half, was due to be induced in two weeks’ time because her son was quite small.
He was due on 26 April.

Having recently learned of where Flybe and Aurigny sit in the league tables of bad airlines, did they issue a charge for an additional passenger?
