‘THEY were one of the best Muratti teams I have ever seen.’

That was the honest assessment from Alderney coach Alan Adamson as his side fell victim to a 5-0 defeat against Guernsey in Saturday’s Muratti Vase semi-final.

Goals from Matt Warren, Ross Allen, Glyn Dyer and a brace for Ben Coulter gave the Sarnian visitors the win and although Adamson was full of admiration for the Greens, he was not happy with the performance of referee Andy Norman.

‘I thought the referee had a very poor game and he got a lot of his decisions wrong,’ he said.
