Watson tests the England champion

BRADLEY WATSON has been going toe-to-toe with Britain’s top flyweights in the countdown to his professional debut this weekend.
Watson (pictured) appears on the ‘Blood, Sweat and Drama At Club Oceana’ show in Southampton on Saturday and the occasion will mark the first time that a Guernsey-based boxer has turned professional for more than 50 years.
There should be plenty of fight fans following the 20-year-old Sarnian and television cameras will also be filming the action when Watson starts his professional career against Salim Salimov over four three-minute rounds.
Bulgarian Salimov is 28 years old but only has five professional fights under his belt, winning two and losing the other three.
