Youngsters gain valuable experience on a tough day

GUERNSEY’S squads endured a difficult day in St Helier on Saturday as they lost all four matches in the volleyball inter-insular.
Plenty of positives came out of the weekend, however, with several youngsters gaining valuable experience in the men’s B encounter.
The day’s final match, the men’s A encounter, was the most enthralling with the sides keen to produce a positive finish to proceedings.
Both were in a buoyant frame of mind and most sets produced fine rallies, meaning both sets of defences had to be on top form.
