Aggressive start to race means thrilling series finale

FALSE starts by the leaders in the penultimate race have ensured the Mercator GYC Frostbite Series will go down to the wire.
In the latest event of the series, competitors again enjoyed excellent sailing conditions, with the wind a moderate force four north-westerly with enough of a swell to promote surfing.
With a similar prevailing wind, the course was the same as the last with three laps up and down the Little Russel and a short dogleg to start and finish from the Castle Emplacement.
Two new teams, of Garnham and Harris in a Hobie Tiger and Rowe in a RS400, made the fleet up to 11 boats.
