Goubert retains area title

CHANTELLE GOUBERT has secured a second consecutive Southern Counties Indoor Championships title at the K2 Leisure Centre in Crawley.
Shooting a Portsmouth round, her score of 572 out of 600 was below her score of 580 last year but was good enough to beat the other 32 women in the recurve event.
Over two sessions, Goubert (pictured) also won the double event with a score of 1,137, beating her nearest rival by 19 points.
Although disappointed to have not recorded a new personal best, Goubert was pleased with the weekend overall.
