Coupee Lane neighbours split, but Environment must decide

A NEIGHBOUR of the proposed Coupee Lane, St Peter Port, development is ‘disgusted’ the plans for the site could be considered suitable for the conservation area.
The plan to build a four-storey block of flats in the land between will be the application discussed at the first Environment Department open board meeting tomorrow.
Planners have already recommended that it is approved.
But Bryn Le Poidevin, who lives next to the site, said the proposed development was too big, would block out too much light and was not in keeping with the area.
