MORE than 50 local youth workers took part in an annual training conference over the weekend.
The Guernsey Youth Service hosted the event, which is aimed at training and helping the youth workers develop their skills.
The conference at the Brock Road Youth Centre saw the workers learning a wide range of topics from decision-making to the young at risk.
It also aimed at giving the workers a chance to socialise with others from different organisations so that they could learn from each other and develop new and fresh ideas.
