AUTHORITIES in France and Jersey are today investigating how a man died after being struck by a high speed ferry.
The unnamed fisherman lost his life after he and his two colleagues were plucked from the sea shortly after Condor Vitesse hit their vessel.
He was pulled unconscious from the sea following a 30-minute search in thick fog.
He was taken on board the St Helier lifeboat and rushed to hospital in Jersey but it was later confirmed that he had died.
