Fog can’t thwart Saints’ charge

St Martin’s 2, Vale Rec 0
GOALS from Tom Strawbridge and Scott Bradford (pictured) were enough to give St Martin’s their 15th straight victory of the season over Vale Rec.
They are now just three wins from completing the season with a 100 per cent league record, maintained in thick fog at Blanche Pierre Lane.
It made spectating the game near on impossible with it difficult to pick players out from one end to the other, but Strawbridge did not care, as he leapt highest to head the home side into a 36th minute lead.
That stayed until half-time, with a long-range Jack Byrne effort the closest Rec came in that period, while Ryan-Zico Black shot straight at Chris Tardif.
