George to drive car that won the title

GUERNSEY-based driver John George has been a regular contender in the British Touring Car Championship but this time the pressure is really on for some good results.

George, who lives in Castel, is used to his normal car – a Honda Integra DC5 type R – and in the past this had been run under his company banner of Jag Communications.

However, this year it is all change. George will be driving a different car – but not any just car.

It is last year’s championship-winning model, the Chevrolet Cruze, as taken to glory in 2010 by Jason Plato.
