Yacht specialist has widened offering over its 40 years

MARINE fiduciary and insurance specialist Sarnia Yachts has just celebrated 40 years in business.

The firm, which is based at La Plaiderie House, St Peter Port, specialises in providing a variety of services to owners of luxury yachts.

In its early days, as part of the Henry Ansbacher Group, Sarnia Yachts offered basic services such as forming companies to own yachts and the registration of those and other yachts.

But over time, and particularly in recent years after a successful management buyout in 2008, it has begun to provide a wider boutique consultancy service assisting an international client base with every aspect of yacht ownership including corporate services, crewing, crew employment, VAT administration, tax planning, insurance and EU importation.
