A host of sporting activities took place in the lead-up to the big match between Guernsey RUFC and Trojans on Saturday.
It was all part of The Big Day Out, a fund-raising initiative led by Only Fools and Donkeys.
From 8.30am onwards, islanders took part in bike rides, a relay marathon, a crossbar challenge and had the chance to watch a touch rugby exhibition match at Foote’s Lane.
Mike Marshall, who founded the charity with Ray Smart around a year ago, thought it was a good idea to link the afternoon’s rugby match and day of activities.
