A 75-year-old man died after a medical condition led him to crash his pick-up truck yesterday.

The accident occurred shortly after noon when his white Daihatsu hit the wall on the corner at the top of Rue des Frieteaux, St Martin’s.

Police sergeant John Tostevin attended the scene and confirmed that early investigations indicated that the driver had suffered a medical condition prior to the crash.

The driver has not been named because his family is still trying to contact some members.
