A MAN who died following a medical condition that led him to crash his pick-up-truck has been named as Roy Ozard.
The 75-year-old St Martin’s resident was rushed to hospital on Monday after his white Daihatsu pick-up hit the wall and lamppost on the corner at the top of Rue des Frieteaux just after noon.
Police confirmed that early investigations suggested Mr Ozard had suffered a medical condition before the crash and were therefore not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
He received first aid at the scene from an islander who kept his airway open, but he was pronounced dead in hospital.
