Ogier in dominant form as he claims top flight crown

PHIL OGIER (pictured) enjoyed the perfect build up to this year’s Island Championships at the end of the month by securing the First Division Championship courtesy of a straight game victory over the upcoming 16-year-old Lawrence Stacey.
The divisional championships are essentially a climax to the league season that finished the previous week.
Players are able to compete in their respective division’s championships and the next division up’s event.
The initial group stages of the competition did not include a
ny surprise results and all the seeded players navigated their groups and entered the main draw.
