Maryland loss shocks Cobo

CLOSING Maryland Garage will be a loss to the Cobo community say its customers.
The business has operated for some 70 years but closes this weekend.
‘It is with considerable regret that the board of directors have taken the difficult decision to close Maryland Service Station,’ said Mark Nightingale (pictured) , a director of Boatworks+ which took over the business seven years ago.
‘The station will cease trading on Saturday. This is due to ever increasing fuel costs and circumstances beyond our control which have led to poor trading.’
