Barry CashOUTSTANDING customer service in the island is to be officially recognised.

The inaugural Guernsey Customer Service Awards, an initiative being driven by the Chamber of Commerce with the support of the Guernsey Press, are looking to find the island’s top customer service personnel with the help of the public, who will be able to vote for the person they believe deserves the recognition.

Awards will be presented to employees from small, medium and large businesses, along with self-employed professionals and those who are employed within States departments, at a ceremony at the Markets on Friday 8 July.

From those winners, a panel of judges will then select Guernsey’s exemplary customer services employee.

‘These awards will recognise, promote and honour excellence, professionalism and outstanding achievement in the customer service profession,’ said Chamber of Commerce director Barry Cash (pictured).
