Alderley to be tough

JERSEY beaten and out of the way for another year, today sees an even bigger challenge for the Guernsey women’s hockey team.
They take on Alderley Edge in the final of the EH Vase in Tonbridge, Kent.
It’s the first time the Sarnian women have reached the final of the nationwide competition and captain Michaela De Vial is confident her team can go on to win.
‘We’re all really looking forward to it. All we can do is think positive, play our best and put into practice what we have been doing in training.’
