Former Westglass employee grasps window of opportunity

TWENTY-FIVE years of loyal service has finally paid off for new Westglass 2000 owner Tim Benstead.
Mr Benstead (pictured) recently purchased the business from owners J Meerveld & Sons after many previous attempts.
Mr Benstead started at Westglass in 1985 as a window fabricator and moved on to fitting and installing after seven years in the workshop.
In 2000 he was asked to take on the position as manager and has had his eye on buying the business ever since.
