SPORTING heroes Matt Le Tissier and Andy Priaulx have joined the fight to save Southampton General Hospital’s Children’s Cardiac Unit.
Both say that the unit, the future of which is currently under review, provides quality care and they are urging islanders to support the Have a Heart Campaign.
‘I have extremely close ties with both Southampton and Guernsey and am keen to bring awareness to the Southern Daily Echo’s Have a Heart campaign,’ said Matt, a former player for Southampton and England.
Three times World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx could not understand why the Southampton unit was under threat.

Voice For Victims
Voice for Victims is a campaign aimed at promoting the rights of those affected by child sexual abuse.
That’s so nice of them to offer to pay for the units upkeep out of their own cash!
For Le Tissier it would certainly be a wiser investment than buying a football club.
