‘We need States to hear our voice’

Anne EwingMAINTAINING effective dialogue with government and other business organisations is the primary goal of the new Institute of Directors Guernsey branch chairwoman.

Anne Ewing (pictured), who has been on the local committee for the past five years, took over from chairman Mark Thompson at the start of this month.

She said it was of paramount importance that the IoD continued to foster lines of communication with the States and with other business organisations to ensure that the voice of its members was heard.

‘The prosperity of all jurisdictions relies on enterprise and the IoD has a part to play in that, so our voice needs to be heard on matters of economic and public policy.’
