From behind scenes to centre stage for new Miss Alderney

DECORATOR Bonnie Flewitt has been crowned Miss Alderney 2011.
Miss Flewitt, 20 (pictured), was announced as the winner at a glitzy Island Hall party on Saturday night.
Her main duties will include representing the island during Alderney Week and attending the Battle of Flowers in Jersey.
She said her dad, Alderney Week organiser Lee Flewitt, had convinced her to enter.
