Help save heart unit which saved me – Clinton, 13

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy who has had major heart surgery is pleading with islanders to help save the Southampton Hospital’s children’s cardiac unit from closure.
Clinton Le Page (pictured) was just nine when he had open heart surgery to repair a hole in his heart.
He had the operation at the unit, which he said provided him with the best possible care.
Now, the St Sampson’s High student is asking every islander to add their name to the Southern Daily Echo’s Have a Heart petition to help him get his voice heard.
