Drivers make the most of the perfect conditions

IT WAS a quick start to the new season yesterday as records were broken on the opening meeting of 2011.

But it was the usual suspects who dominated, with Nick Saunders recording the fastest time of the day, followed by Tim Torode and Andy Bougourd.

Despite not quite being the quickest, Torode was still happy with his day’s work.

‘With the car I have got I am always going to be a little bit short of people like Nick,’ he said.
