Hire firm sacked me because of my age, 65-year-old claims

A FORMER employee of a plant hire company claimed he was pushed out of his job because he turned 65.
Mike Cluer (pictured) worked for CAMS for eight years before he was dismissed in October.
He took his former employer to an unfair dismissal tribunal on Thursday.
Marc Littlewood, owner of the business, represented the company at the hearing in front of chairwoman Georgette Scott, Kathy Tracey and George Jennings.
Mr Littlewood told the tribunal that Mr Cluer’s manner had changed over the last two years.
