JACOB Jenner-Arnold was devastated when someone sabotaged his crab pot but a kind-hearted fisherman has given him three of his own after seeing the four-year-old’s story in the Guernsey Press.
Jacob put his pot down a month ago with his father to catch crabs and lobsters to sell to raise money to buy swings for the garden in the family’s new home.
But three weeks later they found it had been deliberately cut, meaning that anything entering it would be able to escape.
Jacob’s mum Hayley said she got a phone call from fisherman Dave Markwick soon after his story appeared in this paper.

Be careful Jacob
Tax rules say one pot = Hobby
3 pots = small business

Another piece of advice. Don’t drop ‘em off under the SPP lighthouse next time. Those line fishermen have got short tempers and sharp knives.
2 winks and 3 fishes for Jacob!
