Watson bows out

HEATHER WATSON fell at the final hurdle in her attempt to reach the main draw of the WTA Estoril Open yesterday.

The Guernsey girl lost 6-0, 6-3 to the top seed in the qualifying draw Tamira Paszek of Austria, who is ranked No. 87 in the world.
