Experienced duo earn a crack at Dodd and Ogier

TOP seeds Garry Dodd and Phil Ogier will meet fourth seeds Mark Pipet and Phil Hunkin in the Island Championships men’s doubles final.

All eight seeded pairings made their way to the quarter finals without too many problems.

Sixth seeds Joshua and Lawrence Stacey had the closest encounter as they were extended to six games by Shaun Mosely and Ben Foote.

Dodd and Ogier made their way to the semi-finals courtesy of a straight game victory over Jez Powell and Adam Langlois.
