CHILDREN from Hautes Capelles Primary celebrated the Royal Wedding yesterday with their own ceremony.

Maali Simon and Millie Dethick, both five, acted as Prince William and Kate Middleton as they walked down the aisle in Les Capelles Methodist Church.

The Rev. David Hinchliffe conducted the service, which was held in front of parents, teachers and other Reception pupils.

‘We thought it would be a good idea to mark the wedding,’ said foundation leader and class teacher Linda Parish.

Lovely photo, although the little boy in this photo was called George and acting as the father of the bride.

Maali was looking forward to seeing his picture in the paper but will have to be happy his name was there instead.
