Late-morning power failure blacks out the Royal Wedding
Saturday 30th April 2011, 2:29PM BST.
PEOPLE in parts of St Andrew’s and Castel were left disappointed when a high voltage network fault left many without power for more than an hour and interrupted their viewing of the Royal Wedding.
Le Vauquiedor and La Brigade in St Andrew’s were affected, as was La Chaumiere in Castel.
The power cut out at 9.51am and supplies were restored at 11.04am.
