KATIE ROWE put to bed a 29-year-old record in clocking a new personal best for the 1,500m at Foote’s Lane.
Rowe, 13 and in the bottom year of the under-15 age-group, clocked 4min. 56.12 to take nearly six seconds off the mark held by Alison Hale since 1982.
Lee Garland won the senior race in a season’s best 4-08.7.
