County champs stars booked

COUNTY champions Nottinghamshire will be prominent at next month’s Guernsey Premier League.
The T20 event begins on 3 June at the KGV and confirmation has come that the final two captaincy spots will be filled by fast bowlers Charlie Shreck and Paul Franks, who will play for Wave Telecom and Mourant Ozannes respectively in the month-long tournament.
Tournament organiser Mark Latter is happy that the final hurdle has been cleared and top-quality players have been found for all of the franchises.
‘Now we have got the players finalised, the main thing is to make the public aware and getting them to come and watch,’ he said.
