Hospice’s new draw picks first winners

SOMEONE is £1,000 richer after yesterday’s first draw of the Les Bourgs Hospice Lottery Club yesterday held at the hospice’s temporary home at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
Office manager Jenny Batiste pressed the mouse key to generate the numbers, and was watched by Les Bourgs fund-raising administrator Steve Park, director of nursing Jo Boyd and Friends of Les Bourgs chairman Jack Honeybill.
The winners will receive their prizes – one of £1,000, one of £500 and five of £100 – over the next few days.
