Guernsey Manchester City Supporters’ Club treasurer Jack Honeybill managed to get a ticket to the game at Wembley Stadium and made his way to the UK yesterday.
But Dave Newman will be among the local Potters fans watching the match from home.
He had wanted to take his wife, son and daughter but the £300-a-ticket price tag was just too much.

I agree. Having bought the FA Cup the Daily Mail
(who knows about these things)are saying today that City intend to invest more millions in buying next year’s Premiership title
Perhaps Jack can persuade them to invest in some of our 41 empty shops instead?

Sorry Ray I don’t have a birch twig to hand, but all is not lost. I hear the Liver bird dropped the seaweed from his beak when he heard United had bagged their 19th title….so maybe I’ll use that instead.
