THE Guernsey Literary Festival may well be back, says organiser Catriona Stares.

The four-day event, which ended yesterday, gave thousands the chance to meet authors, listen to talks and take part in workshops.

Mrs Stares said the festival had far exceeded expectations.

‘About 4,500 to 5,000 people have been involved,’ she said. ‘It was better than we expected.’
