Gregory selected for Great Britain

PAUL GREGORY is set to become the first Guernsey fencer to represent Great Britain.
The invitation to join the GB squad who will travel to the European Veteran Championships in Henin Beaumont, France, next month is the latest step in a remarkable rise for the relative novice.
‘I will be fencing both foil and epee weapons against some of the best fencers Europe has to offer,’ Gregory (pictured) said.
‘This will be my first full season of competitive fencing as I only started 18 months ago.’
