Healthspan is no longer up for sale

HEALTHSPAN has been taken off the market, it was confirmed yesterday.
The UK Government’s current attempts to crack down on the ruling that allows goods to be shipped from the Channel Islands VAT-free was one element behind abandoning the plan to sell the nutrition business, which had been valued by some at £150m.
‘The decision to explore a sale was taken last year and interest from potential buyers was very high,’ said chairman Derek Coates (pictured).
‘However the coming year has too many uncertainties to maximise the value of a sale.’
