ONE of the island finalists of the last two years will exit this year’s championship tonight.
Danny Blondel and Andy Eggo, who each have a title to their name, both progressed through their third round matches yesterday at L’Ancresse to set up another meeting, only this time it will be an 18-hole shootout.
The pair came through contrasting matches last night.
Eggo was in prime form to blitz young James Hamon by a remarkable 8 and 7 scoreline, which included holing his second for an eagle on 10, while Blondel faced a sterner test from his inter-insular teammate Sean Mills.
