Tickets will go on sale for the 2011 Institute of Directors’ Annual Debate at 9am on Thursday 9 June. The annual event, sponsored by Carey Olsen, has been a sell out in previous years.

The debate will take place on Thursday 6 October at Beau Sejour and will see business leaders speak about and debate the future of the island.

This year the theme will be Partnering Guernsey and panellists will be looking at how businesses in Guernsey can work with the public and voluntary sectors to help make a difference to the island.  They will discuss how a well thought out Corporate Social Responsibility programme can benefit a business and the development of its staff while also making a meaningful contribution to the island community.

The other key topic will be to explore whether Public Private Partnerships can make a significant difference in Guernsey.  The business audience will hear the views of informed panellists before participating in a wider interactive discussion.

Tickets for this year’s event are available on a first come first served basis at £60 each or £600 per table of ten which includes dinner and a drinks reception.

Tables should be booked with Anna Coombs via email only on iod2011@careyolsen.com.  Individual seats can be booked via e-mail or by phone on 01481 732042. Tables are limited to one per organisation.
