Olympic torch relay brings a warm glow

EXCITEMENT among islanders is growing following the announcement that the Olympic torch will be passing through Guernsey on the way to the London 2012 Games.
The torch will arrive in Guernsey on Sunday 15 July 2012, having come from Southampton. It will be here for just 90 minutes before moving on to Jersey.
Dental hygienist Andrea Plummer, 30, was pleased the torch would be coming here.
‘I think it’s brilliant,’ she said.
