No complaints, but man is sacked for bullying

A FORMER service station assistant manager accused of bullying staff and revealing confidential information has claimed he was sacked unfairly.
Robert Lihou told an employment tribunal yesterday he believed he was fired from his job at Maryland, which closed and was put into liquidation last month, because he refused to work on Sundays.
Mr Lihou was dismissed following a disciplinary hearing in August last year, but he said the proper procedures were not followed and the decision to sack him was made before the meeting took place.
Boatworks+, which own the former Cobo business, sent a statement, but were not represented at the hearing.
