PLANS to alter vehicular access to Northfield have found favour with the football club’s neighbours.

The Grand Fort Road club has submitted plans to create a new car parking area and introduce a one-way system, which would see motorists enter the ground via the current driveway, with a new exit leading onto Les Effards Road.

Residents whose properties can be accessed only by the current driveway will retain the right to use it as a two-way road.

The planning application includes three new pitches for the minis, a remodelled groundsman’s store and new landscaping.
