Rapist gets life

Felipe Burton RAPIST Filipe Burton, 19, showed no emotion when he was sentenced to life by the Royal Court yesterday,

He had admitted one charge of rape and two of attempted rape.

Burton (pictured), who was wearing jeans and a burgundy V-neck sweatshirt, did not speak during the hearing, which lasted about two-and-a-half hours.

Sentencing him, Judge Russell Finch said the court had to put the protection of the public before the interests of the defendant.
