KYLIE ROBILLIARD (pictured) and Games sprint debutant Teresa Roberts will have some celebrated opposition on the start line in the Isle of Wight at the end of June.
As the host island flex their competitive muscles in a bid to jump from outside the top 10 in Aland two years ago to near the top of the medal table in 2011, they are pulling in big guns such as athlete Kelly Sotherton and swimmer Darren Mew.
Sotherton, Olympic games bronze medallist in the heptathlon in 2004 and fourth fours years later in Beijing, is targeting the 100m and 200m in her home island.
The former Ryde High School pupil, is hopeful of competing at the event which she starred in back in 1997, when the Games was in Jersey.
